The second episode of Groove TV gives an insight into the creative process behind Ali M. Demirel‘s stunning visuals for Richie Hawtin and M_nus.

Ali M. Demirel was born in Turkey in 1972 and studied nuclear engineering and architecture. In 1993, he started creating experimental videos, focusing on minimal, eerie and hypnotic images. He has been a frequent collaborator of Richie Hawtin since directing a music video for the Plastikman track “Psyk” in 2001. His most recent work for M_nus was the documentary feature “Making Kontakt” in 2010.
